CalFire

CalFire is a California based agency that manages firefighting statewide, provides updates on current events, investigates cause of fires, and hosts information about disaster preparedness.

CalOES

The California Office of Emergency Services is a state agency that provides updates on current disasters, links to services and resources, and offers assistance for residents, public agencies, and the private sectors during and after a disaster strikes.

FEMA

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is a federal agency that provides emergency management before, during, and after an emergency.

Ready.Gov

The best way to get through a disaster is to prepare for one. This site is a federal agency from the Department of Homeland Security with information on preparing for every kind of disaster.

HUD

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides a variety of disaster resources. We also partner with Federal and state agencies to help implement disaster recovery assistance. Under the National Response Framework the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) offer initial recovery assistance.

The US Chamber of Commerce Foundation Disaster Assistance 

The Disaster Help Desk has supported thousands of businesses to prepare and recover from disasters. Since 2007, the Disaster Help Desk has provided small businesses, local chambers of commerce, and business-support organizations with simple and fast information about preparing for and surviving major disasters. The Help Desk coordinates information among businesses, local chambers of commerce, NGOs, government responders, and disaster recovery specialists.
