RiseUp Community Impact Grants
The RiseUp Community Impact Grants program was created to further our mission in support of the long-term rebuilding of our region as a more sustainable and resilient community. With our primary focus being fire survivors and/or organizations serving the fire affected communities of Napa, Sonoma, Lake, and Mendocino Counties, the program will make grants to fill identified gaps in rebuilding, wildfire prevention and preparedness, and long-term resilience.
What do you need and how can we help?
Type of Grants
- Neighborhood Impact
- Project Support & Coordination
- Mini-Grants ($5,000 and under)
- Sponsorship (Event Support)
- Capital Gifts: Improving infrastructure in fire affected areas
- Disaster Preparedness
Community impact grants allow for unmet needs and gaps to be filled in areas often overlooked. In post-disaster areas, there is a need to provide funds for community groups to function and provide support. Even a small grant can make a meaningful impact, unburdening fire survivors and volunteers with out-of-pocket administrative expenses (copying, meeting spaces fees, etc.).
Grants will be limited to no more than two years consecutive per award.
Grantees must provide a report within a set period of time post-funding. This report will also be submitted online.
For additional information on donating to the program and/or becoming a partner, please contact Jennifer Gray Thompson.
