The RiseUp Community Impact Grants program was created to further our mission in support of the long-term rebuilding of our region as a more sustainable and resilient community. With our primary focus being fire survivors and/or organizations serving the fire affected communities of Napa, Sonoma, Lake, and Mendocino Counties, the program makes grants to fill identified gaps in rebuilding, wildfire prevention and preparedness, and long-term resilience. In August 2019, Rebuild NorthBay Foundation and United Way of the Wine Country were pleased to announce a new partnership in the RiseUp Community Impact Grants program. With this partnership, the program will fund up to $400,000 in grants to local organizations in support of the long-term rebuild of our region as a more sustainable and resilient community.

Impact
Community impact grants allow for unmet needs and gaps to be filled in areas often overlooked. In post-disaster areas, there is a need to provide funds for community groups to function and provide support. Even a small grant can make a meaningful impact, unburdening fire survivors and volunteers with out-of-pocket administrative expenses (copying, meeting spaces fees, etc.).
Duration
Grants will be limited to no more than two years consecutive per award.
Reporting
Grantees must provide a report within a set period of time post-funding. This report will also be submitted online.
