COVID-19 Resiliency Grants 2020

Rebuild NorthBay Foundation COVID-19 Resiliency Grants

Rebuild NorthBay Foundation has focused most of our COVID-19 grant making on providing the tech tools for Latino facing organizations to pivot to a virtual model. We made our “Zoom Grants” enough to cover a full year with 10 licenses and in some cases, the addition of the webinar feature.

We also engaged Alma Bowen, executive director of Nuestra Comunidad on March 11, 2020 to provide daily video updates in Spanish. We funded her for two months and recently, we were thrilled to see the County of Sonoma officially engage her as their video translation person. Alma is a former sheriff’s dispatcher and certified medical translator. The videos can be found on our YouTube channel and on our web site.

As of July 15, 2020, we have granted a total of $39,622.92 to help our neighbors make an important change in their way of doing business during the pandemic.

If you wish to support our grants program, please go to this page on our web site. Thank you!
